The Immigration Issue

This past weekend a planned rally in Waterford, where people from Identity Ireland were due to speak at was called off, a counter protest was organised to oppose Identity Ireland on the grounds that they are racist,  however upon looking at the policy section of their website they merely state that they support stronger Immigration controls.

What exactly is racist about wanting or supporting stronger Immigration controls ? on Immigration control Australia allows in a certain number/quota of Immigration per year, but also has strict Immigration controls/rules also, for example if you enter Illegally or overstay your visa you can expect to be deported, would anyone is all seriously label Australia as a racist country ? Every country in the world has some level of Immigration controls/rules, thats not racism but realism, every country has the right to control its own borders.



This is one of the lefty loons from some anti deportation group speaking at the very small counter rally.

 

He rambles on about the Mediterranean and how governments in Europe are racist, no there they re not racist, they re being realist they cant leave countless and countless people in, only this past Thursday Macedonia declared a state of emergency to block the surge of migrants, the government isn't do so because of racism but because they re realistic enough to know they don't have endless resources to take in endless amounts of migrants.

 He also waffled on about how its racist of the Irish government to monitor muslims traveling to certain parts of the middle east and back to Ireland, actually no its not racist to monitor these people , if there is any intelligence that they might be involved in Isis or might be a threat in some way its common sense to keep them monitored, these people really do live in cloud cuckoo land.
